Two new businesses, Icing on the Top, a custom cake bakery, and Flower Play Designs, a wedding and event florist, are expected to open today in Kanbar’s 111 W. Fifth Building. Combined with Spexton Jewelry’s plans to open a luxury gift boutique in Kanbar’s First Place Tower, 15 E. Fifth St., momentum seems to be building within the Deco District.
